You can filter your calls for tenders according to several criteria

In this article

Here is an example of a standard configuration for SEAO (the same configuration applies for the other platforms, except that the values of statuses, types, categories and geographical areas are different):

Status

By default, only RFPs with status "Published" will be displayed as it can be seen in the first filter, but you can modify it as needed to add other statuses relevant to you.

Example: If you are doing spotting, it is the status " Posted " (on SEAO)," Open "  (on Merx) or "Active "(on Purchases and Sales) which allows you to see the calls for tenders that are still open. If, on the other hand, you wish to go to look at calls for tenders from the past, you will have to check the other statuses instead.

Type

By default, all types of calls for tenders are selected but you can remove them if necessary with the 2nd filter.

Do not hesitate to take a look at our glossary to better understand the different types of calls for tenders.

Published since

By default, only calls for tenders published since "One month"  are displayed, on the other hand you can modify the value according to your needs with the 3rd filter (from one day to one year).

During your regular watch, we recommend that you use the "Last visit" filter.
If you are looking for a previous call for tenders, choose the most suitable time frame.

Closing in

By default, all calls for tenders are displayed regardless of the due date (closing, submission deadline) but you can modify the value with the 4th filter.

In order to see all the results, we recommend that you leave the choice on "90 days or more" because it will show you all the calls for tenders (as much those whose submission deadline is the next day, as those for which you have more than 90 days to bid).

By default, the search for your keywords is carried out on the "Title" and the "Description" of the invitation to tender, but you can modify this combination with the 5th filter.

Keywords

If several people or teams are responsible for identifying calls for tenders within your company, the keyword filter is for you!
Thus, each user can check only the keywords that concern him (at the level of keyword categories or individual keywords).

If you are the only one in charge of spotting or you want to see the results for all your keywords, then in the Keywords menu, make sure everything is checked as below:

Categories / Geographical areas

Both the categories and the geographical areas of the calls for tenders are shown as published on the source platforms.

In the "Categories / Geo zones" menu, make sure that all the desired categories and / or subcategories are checked (if in doubt you can leave them all checked) and at the bottom make sure that you are in "Specify" mode, which will ensure that the tenders displayed contain your keywords AND the selected categories :

Make sure to do the same for the "Geo Zones" as needed, by default they are all selected. So if you are only interested in certain provinces or regions for your calls for tenders, we recommend that you apply the filter by geographic area.

Please note that all the filters are specific to each platform (and therefore named differently) and that it is important to correctly set up the filters on all the platforms you are using (SEAO, MERX, ...).
If you wish to save your filter preferences for your next connections, it is necessary to click on the "Search" button once your filters have been selected.
